Sunspots is an album that was created during the same deep dive into the archives that produced the recent Seven Year Silence CD (issued by Fang Bomb) but has a very different personality. This is a much more subdued affair revisiting the same material that was recorded for the mp3 album Solsting and some of the last recordings made at the legendary The Cabin studio as well as other locations during the years 2000-2004 - making this the final document of Sundin’s more quiet half of this decade. What separates this album from his earlier ones from this era is that it is of a somewhat more improvised and fragile nature although the sounds are still carefully composed.

This project went through several format changes along the way, it was originally intended as a download only, then as a print project, then as a cassette but now finally as a 12" vinyl. Below are some drawings that were used as raw material for an early cover idea later abandoned.
